Costarring the talented April Israel alongside Mr. Capecci, this impromptu video was shot in single takes on Halloween night using a Canon digital camera. Virtual Mom (2:01, 11.7 MB) Created as a Mother's Day card, Virtual Mom attempts to answer whether our mother can be replaced by a piece of technology. Far from being mushy, Mr. Capecci attacks the subject with a cynical edge resulting in some real-life comedy. Virtual Mom also features completely original music, composed using Sony's JamTrax software. Regardless of age or gender, everyone should recognize a part of their own mother in Virtual Mom!

Paradox (25 seconds, 2.5 MB) First screened at Middlebury College in 2002 and then a year later at the Warshaw in Santa Monica, CA, Paradox is Brian Capecci's thesis film. Painting the pursuit of individualism as futile, Paradox follows the exploits of Tomm, a seemingly mental patient obsessed with his own individuality. In this presented clip, he is pushed to the breaking point when he faces his worst nightmare himself. (This film was cut using a Media 100 editing system)

Chase (53 seconds, 4.7 MB) Created for Best Buy, this short film was designed to introduce the centricty concept in their stores. The goal of the video was to be entertaining and informative at the same time. This film was shot under extreme conditions, with a 48 hour deadline. It was initially cut in Pinnacle Quick Start and then the edited sequences were recut in Adobe Premiere Professional. Featured here is the opening sequence.

The Test (1:56, 7.8 MB) Another dip into the Capecci vault, "The Test" follows the exploits of two college students on their way to an important final exam. En route, they accidentally knock a fellow student unconscious. Soon however, their problems escalate as demonstrated in the provided sequence.
